The people of Alayi in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State have commended the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, for the ongoing rural transformation of the community through the opening of access roads.
The community commended Kalu during his ward-to-ward tour to the area.
Amongst the roads mentioned include the already completed Amankalu road which has been fully completed and Amaoku Amakpu road which has reached 90 percent completion.
Thanking Senator Kalu on behalf of the community, Mr. Onuoha Chukwueke Nnanna also appealed to the Senator to pay attention to Umuenyere -Amakwu-Amaeke Agbakoli road.
In his address, Senator Kalu informed the community that the Ugwa Agba road and Samek road would commence soonest. The community unnamimously declared their solidarity to re-elect Kalu back to the Senate.
