Kinsmen of the Publisher of All Facts Newspaper, Iroegbu Emenike have cautioned him to stop disgracing them through his sponsored campaign of calumny against the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

This was contained in a statement made available to journalists on Thursday by Concerned Citizens of Umuasua Community in Isikwuato Local Government Area.

Iroegbu’s people have now told him not to drag the community back to Egypt in his selfish propaganda against Kalu, who is the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District.

In the statement titled: “Think About Umuasua First”, signed by Chief Charles Ihemelandu and Mr. Chukwu John, Iroegbu’s kinsmen said it was surprising that Iroegbu who had went to thank Senator Kalu alongside other leaders of the community for bringing development to Umuasua community could turned around and be used to politically blackmail the Senator.

“We heard that one of our sons and brother has taken the bull by the horn by trying to drag Umuasua back to Egypt through his sponsored campaign of calumny against Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

“Ordinarily, we would have allowed him to continue since it is his business to blackmail leaders and get paid, but it became imperative that we remind him that the Senator Orji Uzor Kalu that he was paid to blackmail was the person that facilitated the installation of solar street lights across Umuasua and tarred the road to our community which he was part of the delegation that went to thank the Distinguished Senator.

“Our son who served as an appointee of Hon. Chinedum Orji could not convinced the Ochendo’s family to fix our road is now at the forefront of portraying Umuasua in bad light to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. We urge him to stop immediately and stop disgracing our community with immediate effect.

“If our son is honest with what he is doing, it is pertinent we asked him to openly do the same with the Ochendo’s family which he served and was under their pay roll for years. Iroegbu Emenike must openly tell Abians who paid him for the smear campaign against Senator Kalu, because we understand that he is frustrated especially after he was stopped from receiving N500,000 from the Abia state government and we won’t allow him to drag our community backward using his soft propaganda.

“Obviously, the Ochendo’s family have succeeded in mentoring our son on how to owe staff salaries, and treat them with so much disrespect. While we give him few days to apologise to our community and repent from the business of cheap blackmail, we are using this opportunity to warn him to stop disgracing us or we mobilise the community against him by exposing the kind of character he is.”
